Custom House Portrait From Your Photo

A custom house portrait from Love Gifts Co. turns a photo of any home into a finished piece of art, illustrated by an artist in your choice of watercolor, modern, sketch, or line style. Send us a photo — including one from Zillow, Trulia, StreetEasy, or Google Earth — and you'll receive a full artwork preview in 1–2 business days. Revise the color and likeness as many times as you need; nothing goes to print until you approve it.

A Gift They'll Treasure Forever

Give them a custom home portrait they'll proudly display for years to come.

You Approve It Before We Print It

Every order includes an artwork preview and revisions before anything goes to production. You'll see your portrait first, and we'll revise it until you approve. Nothing ships until you say yes.

How Custom House Portraits Work

Ordering a custom house portrait takes three steps. First, choose your style and upload a photo of the home at checkout. Second, one of our artists illustrates the portrait from your photo and emails you a preview within 2–3 business days. Third, you review it and request changes — we revise color and likeness as many times as you need, at no cost. Once you approve the artwork, we print and ship it, or email the digital file immediately if that's what you ordered. You never pay for a portrait you haven't seen first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Select your preferred artwork style, upload your photo, and we'll handle everything else. Your custom artwork will be ready for review within 2-3 days of ordering, with unlimited free revisions to color and likeness until you approve it. Style, pose, and clothing changes are available for an additional fee.

We ship to US, Canada, and Australia.

Rates: Free on US orders over $100, otherwise $9.95 flat within the USA.

Timing: Your complimentary artwork preview arrives in 1-2 business days. After you approve it, printing takes 3-7 business days and US shipping takes 5-10 business days. Digital files are emailed immediately on approval.

No professional photography required. We just need a clear photo with good lighting.

If there's any issue with your photo, we'll reach out and ask for an alternative.

For house art: photos from Zillow, StreetEasy, Trulia, Google Earth, and similar sources work great too.

Contact us as soon as possible. We can make changes — including address corrections — up to 24 hours after ordering, or until your artist begins work, whichever comes first. After that, changes are handled case by case and may delay your order.

Changed your mind about your style after seeing the proof? No problem! We're happy to create your portrait in a different style. Since each piece is hand-illustrated digitally by our artists from the ground up, there's a $20 fee per additional style. You can then select your favorite for the final physical portrait.

I was looking for a keepsake that would still look like tasteful wall decor. I chose our childhood home because that place represents a big chapter of our life. The line art style kept the home recognizable while giving it a more artistic look. The photo itself was ordinary, but the portrait gave it a completely different presence. It is a simple idea, but the connection to the home gives it real weight.

We wanted to preserve the memory of a place that has meant a lot to our family. I chose our farmhouse because that place represents a big chapter of our life. Going with watercolor gave the artwork exactly the feel I wanted. A regular phone picture was enough to create something that felt genuinely special. My wife recognized the home immediately and loved the idea.

I wanted a custom gift without a lot of names, dates, or extra wording. I chose our first home because that place represents a big chapter of our life. The line art style made the image feel custom rather than like a filtered photograph. A regular phone picture was enough to create something that felt genuinely special. The reaction confirmed that the home itself was the perfect subject.

A portrait of the actual home felt much more meaningful than a generic house print. We used a photo of our mountain cabin, and it immediately made the artwork feel personal. The line art version gave the portrait a polished look without losing the character of the home. The photo itself was ordinary, but the portrait gave it a completely different presence. It feels like a keepsake without looking like a typical keepsake.

This seemed like a simple way to turn an important place into something permanent. Using our first home made the final portrait feel like a real keepsake. I liked how the line art option balanced detail with a simple overall composition. Everyone who knows the house recognizes it immediately.

I wanted something more personal than another framed photo. We used our farmhouse, which has been part of so many important memories. Choosing modern gave the portrait a nice mix of detail and softness. We both loved how familiar the house still felt in an artistic style.

I had been searching for a gift that felt specific to the person receiving it. The subject is our ranch home, and seeing it as artwork brought back a lot of memories. The watercolor version gave the portrait a polished look without losing the character of the home. We only had a phone photo, but the finished piece looked much more polished than the original. It is now one of the custom pieces we keep on display all the time.

This seemed like a simple way to turn an important place into something permanent. The portrait is based on our new house, so there is a real story behind it. Going with line art gave the artwork exactly the feel I wanted. I sent in a casual snapshot and the portrait still came out clean and intentional. It feels like a keepsake without looking like a typical keepsake.

The clean presentation is what first caught my attention. We used our beach house, which has been part of so many important memories. The modern style made the image feel custom rather than like a filtered photograph. I appreciated having a chance to review the artwork before it was finalized. It turned out to be a thoughtful Father's Day gift.
